A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southern Gloucester, York and northeastern James City Counties, the City of Poquoson and the City of Hampton through 1015 PM EDT. At 935 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Queens Lake, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD. Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include. Hampton, Williamsburg, Gloucester Courthouse, Queens Lake, Virginia Institute For Marine Sciences, Seaford, Gloucester Point, Norge, Buckroe Beach, Hayes, Wicomico, Achilles, Bavon, Grand View, Lackey, Beulah, Camp Peary, Glass, Naxera and Ewell. MAX HAIL SIZE. 0.50 IN MAX WIND GUST. 45 MPH

At 908 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Homeville, or near Waverly, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD. Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include. Smithfield, Windsor, Wakefield, Isle Of Wight, Ivor, Zuni, Booth Fork, Pons, Berlin, Bethel Church, Ellis Fork, Manry, Littleton, Central Hill, Whitley, Dory, Comet and Raynor. MAX HAIL SIZE. 0.50 IN MAX WIND GUST. 30 MPH

A STRONG THUNDERSTORM APPROACHING THE WATERS. The areas affected include. Chesapeake Bay from New Point Comfort to Little Creek VA. York River. At 935 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 10 nm northwest of Coleman Bridge, moving southeast at 45 knots. Locations impacted include. Tue Marshes Light, New Point Comfort, Mobjack Bay, York Spit Reef, Coleman Bridge and Poquoson.
