A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS. The areas affected include. Chesapeake Bay from New Point Comfort to Little Creek VA. Entrance to the Chesapeake Bay including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. York River. At 1006 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Tue Marshes Light, moving southeast at 30 knots. Locations impacted include. New Point Comfort, Latimer Shoal, Plantation Light, Poquoson, Kiptopeke Concrete Ships, Tue Marshes Light, York Spit Reef, Buoy 36a, Bluefish Rock, Fishermans Island, The Hump, Cabbage Patch and 4th Island Bay Bridge.
