A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Tidal Potomac from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA. Tidal Potomac from Indian Head to Cobb Island MD. At 553 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing winds to around 2O to 30 knots. These showers were located along a line extending from near Fairview Beach to 14 nm southwest of Potomac Creek to 37 nm southwest of Aquia Creek, moving east at 40 knots.
