From 7 AM CDT this morning through Monday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms will develop across the Watch area Sunday into Monday producing rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches with isolated higher amounts of 6 inches or more. Portions of Louisiana, including the following parishes, Beauregard and Vernon and southeast Texas, including the following areas, Hardin, Northern Jasper, Northern Newton, Southern Jasper, Southern Newton and Tyler. * WHEN. From 6 AM CDT this morning through Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Multiple rounds of showers and storms are expected to develop and move east across the region today and again Monday. Heavy rainfall can be expected in some of the storms with average totals between 2 and 4 inches. Training of storms could lead to isolated higher totals of at least 6 inches or more.
