FLASH FLOOD WATCH EXTENDED THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON. .Deep tropical moisture will continue to spread into the area tonight and Sunday. Areas of rain with embedded thunderstorms are expected across much of coastal southeast Texas and coastal southern Louisiana today. Heavy rainfall is possible, especially in any stronger thunderstorms that develop. . FLASH FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON. The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for * Portions of Louisiana and southeast Texas, including the following areas, in Louisiana, Acadia, Calcasieu, East Cameron, Iberia, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, Lower St. Martin, St. Mary, Upper St. Martin, Vermilion, and West Cameron. In southeast Texas, Jefferson and Orange. * Through Sunday afternoon * Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts up to 6 inches is possible tonight and tomorrow along I-10 corridor to the coast.
