A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Coastal Waters from Cape Charles Light to Virginia-North Carolina border out to 20 nm. Coastal waters from NC VA border to Currituck Beach Light NC out 20 nm. Currituck Sound. At 1237 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Lynnhaven to 10 nm west of Sandbridge to 17 nm west of Deal Island, moving southeast at 20 knots. thunderstorms will be near. Virginia Beach Oceanfront and Rudee Inlet around 1245 AM EDT. Sandbridge around 1250 AM EDT. Deal Island around 105 AM EDT. Knotts Island Bay around 110 AM EDT. Buoy 4a Drydocks around 125 AM EDT.
