SMWAKQ The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a * Special Marine Warning for. Chesapeake Bay from Smith Point to Windmill Point VA. Chesapeake Bay from Windmill Point to New Point Comfort VA. * Until 845 PM EDT. * At 728 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Tangier Island to near San Marcos Wreck to Windmill Point, moving southeast at 20 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include.
