Dangerous rip currents are expected. * WHERE. San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County Coastal Areas. * WHEN. Through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS. Increased risk of rip currents and dangerous swimming conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. A 3 foot, 16-18 second period swell from 200-210 degrees will generate elevated surf and strong and rip and longshore currents. Surf will begin to subside on Thursday.
