* WHAT. Surf of 3 to 6 feet expected. Sets to 7 feet are possible today. Highest surf will occur on south-southwest facing beaches in Orange County and northern San Diego County. * WHERE. San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County Coastal Areas. * WHEN. Through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS. Increased risk of strong rip currents and dangerous swimming conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. A 3 foot, 15-17 second period swell from 200-210 degrees will generate elevated surf and strong and rip and longshore currents. Surf will lower on Friday.
