Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Neuse River at Kinston. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 18.0 feet, Widespread lowland flooding adjacent to the river. Water approaches some secondary roads over the southeast sections of Kinston. Campgrounds and picnic areas at the Nature Center in Kinston are inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:15 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 17.2 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:15 AM EDT Wednesday was 17.3 feet. - Forecast.
