At 302 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Bethany Beach to near Cape Henry, moving east at 30 knots. Locations impacted include. Assawoman Bay, Ocean City Inlet, Chesapeake Light Tower, Anglo African Wreck, Assateague Beach, Cape Henry, Ship Shoal Inlet, Quinby Inlet, Gulf Rambler Wreck, Great Machipongo Inlet, Ocean City Pier, 10 Nm East Of Ocean City Inlet, Sand Shoal Inlet, Cape Charles Light, African Queen Wreck, Wachapreague Inlet, Chincoteague Bay, Parking Lot, Wachapreague Reef, and Blackfish Reef.
