* WHAT. Dangerous rip currents are expected. * WHERE. In Maryland, Worcester County. In North Carolina, Eastern Currituck County. In Virginia, Virginia Beach, and Accomack and Northampton Counties. * WHEN. Through this evening. * IMPACTS. Breaking waves of 4 to 5 ft combined with long period swell will result in rough surf conditions and a high risk of rip currents. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
