* WHAT. Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. Portions of northeast North Carolina, including the following counties, Camden and Currituck and southeast Virginia, including the following independent cities, City of Chesapeake and City of Virginia Beach. * WHEN. Until 1100 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 508 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
