A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Chesapeake Bay from Little Creek VA to Cape Henry VA including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Chesapeake Bay from New Point Comfort to Little Creek VA. At 504 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located near Willoughby Bay, moving northeast at 15 knots.
