Coastal Waters from Cape Charles Light to Virginia-North Carolina border out to 20 nm. Coastal waters from Chincoteague to Parramore Island VA out 20 nm. Coastal waters from Fenwick Island DE to Chincoteague VA out 20 nm. Coastal waters from Parramore Island to Cape Charles Light VA out 20 nm. Waters from Cape Charles Light to Virginia - North Carolina Border from 20 to 40 nm. Waters from Chincoteague VA to Parramore Island VA from 20 to 40 nm. Waters from Parramore Island VA to Cape Charles Light VA from 20 to 40 nm. * Until 100 PM EDT. * At 1159 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Northern Neck Reef to 6 nm east of Nassawadox Reef to near 4th Island Bay Bridge, moving northeast at 40 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, Nassawadox Reef, Anglo African Wreck, Assateague Beach, Crisfield, Ship Shoal Inlet, Quinby Inlet, Tangier Island, Great Machipongo Inlet, Onancock Inlet, Occohannock Reef, Sand Shoal Inlet, The Cell, Cape Charles Light, Cabbage Patch, Cape Charles Harbor, Wachapreague Inlet, Lower Bernard Island, Rappahannock Range Light, and Chincoteague Bay.

A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Chesapeake Bay from Little Creek VA to Cape Henry VA including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Chesapeake Bay from New Point Comfort to Little Creek VA. Chesapeake Bay from Smith Point to Windmill Point VA. Chesapeake Bay from Windmill Point to New Point Comfort VA. Rappahannock River from Urbanna to Windmill Point. At 1132 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 nm northwest of Irvington to Little Creek, moving east at 45 knots.
