Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Slow-moving showers and thunderstorms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall from this morning through most of today. Rainfall rates may approach 2 to 3 inches per hour, which could lead to areas of flash flooding. The greatest threat is expected in urban or flood-prone locations.
