Northwestern Currituck County in northeastern North Carolina. North central Chowan County in northeastern North Carolina. The City of Chesapeake in southeastern Virginia. The City of Virginia Beach in southeastern Virginia. * Until 200 PM EDT. * At 119 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sunbury, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD. 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to trees and powerlines. * This severe thunderstorm will be near. Chesapeake around 130 PM EDT. Northwest around 145 PM EDT. Virginia Beach and Fentress around 150 PM EDT.
