At 751 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Wakefield to near Homeville to near Jarratt. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near. Wakefield, Sussex, Dendron, and Homeville around 755 PM EDT. Elberon around 805 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Vicksville, Booth Fork, Carsley, Pons, Booker, Yale, Bethel Church, Lumberton, Ellis Fork, and Hilda.

The areas affected include. Chesapeake Bay from Little Creek VA to Cape Henry VA including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Chesapeake Bay from New Point Comfort to Little Creek VA. Chesapeake Bay from Smith Point to Windmill Point VA. Chesapeake Bay from Windmill Point to New Point Comfort VA. Coastal waters from Parramore Island to Cape Charles Light VA out 20 nm. James River from James River Bridge to Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel. James River from Jamestown to the James River Bridge. Rappahannock River from Urbanna to Windmill Point. York River. At 751 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a broken line of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 nm north of Irvington to 7 nm southwest of White Stone Bridge to Burwell Bay, moving east at 30 knots. Locations impacted include. New Point Comfort, Nassawadox Reef, Crisfield, Thimble Shoals, Urbanna Inlet, Tue Marshes Light, Stingray Point, Occohannock Reef, Hampton Flats, Willoughby Bay, Sewells Point, Cabbage Patch, Longs Creek Inlet, Rappahannock Light, Latimer Shoal, Nandua Pungoteague Reef, Mobjack Bay, Gwynns Island Reef, Kiptopeke Concrete Ships, and Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel.
