In Virginia, Virginia Beach, and Accomack and Northampton Counties. * WHEN. Through Monday evening. * IMPACTS. Breaking waves of 3 to 5 ft combined with long period swell will result in rough surf conditions and a high risk of rip currents. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
