At 225 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Scotland Neck to Ahoskie. Movement was north at 30 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near. Ahoskie, Rich Square, and Woodland around 230 PM EDT. Winton around 240 PM EDT. Murfreesboro, Chowan University, and Conway around 245 PM EDT. Como around 250 PM EDT. Seaboard around 300 PM EDT.
