* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall. * WHERE. A portion of northeast North Carolina, including the following counties, Camden, Currituck, Pasquotank and Perquimans. * WHEN. Until 245 AM EDT. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 851 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain fell due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring from Elizabeth City into Southern Camden County. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Currituck, Elizabeth City, Camden, Winfall, Elizabeth City State University, Weeksville, Whitehall Shores, Indiantown, Shiloh, Old Trap, Nixonton, Chapanoke, Corolla, Pasquotank, Taylors Beach, Belcross, Bartlett, Spences Corner, Gregory and Riddle. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
