At 502 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Lewiston Woodville, or 12 miles west of Windsor, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Bertie and south central Hertford Counties, including the following locations. Askewville, Whites Crossroads, Connaritsa, Republican, Quitsna, Burden, Midway, Proctors Corner, and Buena Vista.
