* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. Portions of northeast North Carolina, including the following counties, Chowan, Gates and Hertford and southeast Virginia, including the following counties and independent cities, City of Franklin, City of Suffolk, Isle of Wight and Southampton. * WHEN. Until 1000 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 648 PM EDT, local law enforcement and broadcast media reported flooding in various locations across the City of Suffolk and Gates County. Flooding is already occurring. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen today, not including what fell yesterday. The heaviest rain has ended, and the Flash Flood Warning has been converted to a Flood Warning, as the threat for flooding will continue through the evening. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Franklin, Windsor, Gatesville, Holland, Sunbury, Downtown Suffolk, Suffolk, Gates, Winton, Cofield, Harrellsville, Whaleyville, Roduco, Corapeake, Carrsville, Hobbsville, Kings Fork, Somerton, Drum Hill and Reynoldson. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
