Northwestern Currituck County in northeastern North Carolina. North central Chowan County in northeastern North Carolina. The City of Chesapeake in southeastern Virginia. The City of Virginia Beach in southeastern Virginia. * Until 200 PM EDT. * At 119 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sunbury, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD. 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Minor damage to vehicles is possible.
