Portions of northeast North Carolina, including the following areas, Bertie, Camden, Chowan, Eastern Currituck, Gates, Hertford, Pasquotank, Perquimans and Western Currituck and Virginia, including the following areas, Chesapeake, Hampton/Poquoson, Isle of Wight, Newport News, Norfolk/Portsmouth, Northampton, Suffolk and Virginia Beach. * WHEN. Through this evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Deep moisture across the region combined with a stalled frontal boundary will lead to the potential for heavy rainfall through this evening across Hampton Roads and parts of northeast North Carolina.
