* WHAT. Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE. A portion of east central Florida, including the following counties, Indian River, Martin, Saint Lucie, Volusia, Brevard, Lake, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Seminole. * WHEN. From Sunday morning through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Bands of slow-moving rain are forecast early in the week due to a nearby front. Then, as a tropical system approaches Florida by Wednesday, the threat for heavy rain will heighten further. 6 to 10 inches of rain are forecast along the coast, with 3 to 6 inches generally expected over the interior. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

A portion of east central Florida, including the following counties, Indian River, Martin, Saint Lucie, Volusia, Brevard, Lake, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole. * WHEN. From Sunday morning through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Bands of slow-moving rain are forecast early in the week due to a nearby front. Then, as a tropical system approaches Florida by Wednesday, the threat for heavy rain will heighten further. 4 to 8 inches of rain are forecast from near Orlando to Melbourne and points northward, with 3 to 5 inches along the Treasure Coast. 2 to 4 inches are forecast along the Kissimmee Basin. Minor flooding is forecast. For the Myakka. including Myakka River State Park. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Cypress Creek at SR 54 Worthington Gardens. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 8.0 feet, Flooding begins at the recreation area on State Road 54. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 8.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to 8.9 feet Tuesday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - Flood History.
