* WHAT. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southwest Michigan, including the following counties, Allegan, Barry, Kalamazoo, Kent, Ottawa and Van Buren. * WHEN. Until 1145 AM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 346 AM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - The first round of showers and thunderstorms produced 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain. A second round of storms was moving in as of 346 am. These storms could generate another 1.0 to locally 2.0 inches of rain. This will likely lead to urban and poor drainage flooding. Rises can be expected on the area small rivers and streams including the Macatawa, Rabbit, Buck and Plaster basins. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Grand Rapids, Holland, Grand Haven, Hastings, Allegan, South Haven, Wyoming, Kentwood, Walker, Grandville, East Grand Rapids, Hudsonville, Zeeland, Coopersville, Wayland, Otsego, Plainwell, Lowell, Middleville and Ferrysburg. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

A portion of southwest Michigan, including the following counties, Allegan, Barry, Kalamazoo, Kent, Ottawa and Van Buren. * WHEN. Until 1145 AM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 540 AM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - The heaviest rain will likely shift east of the region by 700 am. Radar estimates that 1.5 to 3.0 inches of rain fell over much of the advisory area. Thus some urban and poor drainage flooding is likely occurring, especially over Allegan and northern Van Buren Counties. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
