At 654 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 7 miles southwest of Belmont, or 10 miles southwest of St. Marys, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Parkersburg, Marietta, St. Marys, Vienna, Williamstown, Belmont, Boaz, Newport, North Hills, Lower Salem, Maxwell, Schultz, Mountain, Hebron, Pike, Devola, Highland, Willow Island, Walker, and Nutter Farm. This includes the following highways. Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 175 and 186. Interstate 77 in Ohio between mile markers 1 and 7. Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 9 and 35.

SVRRLX The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for. Central Roane County in central West Virginia. East central Jackson County in northwestern West Virginia. * Until 715 PM EDT. * At 642 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Kenna, or 9 miles southeast of Ripley, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD. Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include. Spencer, Gay, and Gandeeville.
