At 654 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 7 miles southwest of Belmont, or 10 miles southwest of St. Marys, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Parkersburg, Marietta, St. Marys, Vienna, Williamstown, Belmont, Boaz, Newport, North Hills, Lower Salem, Maxwell, Schultz, Mountain, Hebron, Pike, Devola, Highland, Willow Island, Walker, and Nutter Farm. This includes the following highways. Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 175 and 186. Interstate 77 in Ohio between mile markers 1 and 7. Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 9 and 35.

South central Ritchie County in northwestern West Virginia. Western Gilmer County in north central West Virginia. Southeastern Wirt County in northwestern West Virginia. Northern Roane County in central West Virginia. * Until 745 PM EDT. * At 709 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Spencer, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD. 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include.
