At 1017 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Green Plain to 6 miles southwest of Boykins to near Woodland. Movement was northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes. Locations impacted include. Franklin, Murfreesboro, Courtland, Wakefield, Boykins, Chowan University, Conway, Seaboard, Newsoms, Como, Hunterdale, Green Plain, Sedley, Claresville, Jackson, Severn, Capron, Lasker, Branchville, and Vicksville.
