A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Chesapeake Bay from Little Creek VA to Cape Henry VA including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Chesapeake Bay from New Point Comfort to Little Creek VA. James River from James River Bridge to Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel. James River from Jamestown to the James River Bridge. At 708 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This gust front was located along a line extending from near York Spit Reef to 6 nm south of Coleman Bridge to 12 nm southwest of Cobham Bay, moving east southeast at 20 knots. The front will be near. Plantation Light, The Hump, Poquoson, Buoy 36a, and Burwell Bay around 715 PM EDT. James River Bridge and Cabbage Patch around 720 PM EDT. Bluefish Rock, Hampton Flats, Kiptopeke Concrete Ships, and Hampton River Inlet around 725 PM EDT. Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel and Latimer Shoal around 730 PM EDT. Dominion Pier and Thimble Shoals around 735 PM EDT. Fishermans Island, Sewells Point, Monitor Merrimack Bridge Tunnel, Willoughby Bay, and 4th Island Bay Bridge around 740 PM EDT. 1st Island Bay Bridge, Little Creek, and Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel around 750 PM EDT.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near. Exmore around 700 PM EDT. Nassawadox around 705 PM EDT. Willis Wharf around 710 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Birdsnest, Harborton, Melfa, Jamesville, Silver Beach, Wachapreague, Wardtown, Franktown, Locustville, and Pungoteague.

HAZARD. Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include.
