A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Chesapeake Bay from Little Creek VA to Cape Henry VA including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Chesapeake Bay from New Point Comfort to Little Creek VA. Coastal Waters from Cape Charles Light to Virginia-North Carolina border out to 20 nm. At 205 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located near Little Creek, moving northeast at 50 knots. The strong thunderstorm will be near. 1st Island Bay Bridge, Lynnhaven, Little Creek, and Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel around 210 PM EDT. Cape Henry, Cape Henry Wreck, and 4th Island Bay Bridge around 215 PM EDT. Anglo African Wreck around 225 PM EDT.

S of Currituck Beach Light NC to Oregon Inlet NC out to 20 nm. * Until 245 PM EDT. * At 158 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over The Mouth Of The Alligator River, moving northeast at 30 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. Duck, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, The Vicinity Of Mashoes, Alligator River Bridge, and The Mouth Of The Alligator River.
