Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Richmond and northern Westmoreland Counties, including the following locations. Lerty, Stratford Hall, Currioman Landing, Potomac Beach, Potomac Mills, Oak Grove, Singerly, Mount Holly, Peeds, and Erica.

Tidal Potomac from Key Bridge to Indian Head MD. * Until 1100 PM EDT. * At 859 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 31 nm northwest of Tidal Basin to 23 nm west of Key Bridge to 34 nm west of Quantico to 35 nm west of Aquia Creek to 52 nm west of Brent Point, moving east at 45 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel. * Locations impacted include.
