* WHAT. Up to two and a half feet of inundation above ground level in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE. Shoreline in St. Marys County. * WHEN. Until 5 AM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS. At 3.5 feet, water covers roads on Saint George Island, is in yards, and is approaching structures. To the east, inundation is occurring at multiple marinas off St. Mary's River, Smith Creek, and Jutland Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Tides two and a half to three feet above normal. The next high tide at Piney Point is at 1:49 PM and 2:05 AM. The next high tide at Point Lookout is at 12:44 PM and 1:07 AM. The next high tide at Coltons Point is at 2:25 PM and 2:41 AM.

Shoreline inundation is expected along portions of the seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point Loop Road, and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. At 3.0 feet, parking lots near Charles Street in Solomons begin to flood, with several inches of water covering low- lying portions of Charles Street and Williams Street. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. The next high tide at Chesapeake Beach is at 3:25 PM and 3:48 AM. The next high tide at Solomons Island is at 1:35 PM and 2:01 AM.

Portions of central and western Virginia, including the following areas, in central Virginia, Albemarle, Central Virginia Blue Ridge, Greene, Nelson and Orange. In western Virginia, Augusta, Eastern Highland and Western Highland. * WHEN. Until 11 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Another round of moderate to heavy showers are expected over the same areas which have seen recent flooding issues. Total rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are likely, with localized amounts up to 4 inches possible in a few spots. For the South Fork Shenandoah River. including Lynnwood, Luray, Front Royal. flooding is possible. * WHAT. Flooding is possible. * WHERE. Shenandoah River at Millville. * WHEN. From Tuesday afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 12.0 feet, Water reaches the river access at Wagon Trail Place near Harpers Ferry, and completely covers the parking lot of the lower boat ramp at Millville Dam. Portions of the Cool Spring Battlefield begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:30 AM EDT Monday the stage was 8.6 feet, or 1.4 feet below flood stage. - Forecast. Westmoreland, Richmond, Northumberland, Western Essex and Eastern Essex Counties. * WHEN. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 6 AM EDT Tuesday. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from Tuesday morning through Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, shallow flooding is expected in the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline resulting in a low threat of property damage. Expect up to one foot of water above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks and lawns near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding. For the Coastal Flood Watch, numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure may be inundated. Some shoreline erosion may occur.
