* WHAT. Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. Portions of southwest and west central Virginia, including the following counties, in southwest Virginia, Craig. In west central Virginia, Botetourt. * WHEN. Until 245 PM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 841 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Buchanan, Troutville, New Castle, Oriskany, Eagle Rock, Paint Bank and Sinking Creek. - Flooding will continue along Craig Creek. At Camp Easter Seals minor flooding was occurring. The stage was 9.3 feet and falling. At Parr minor flooding was occurring the stage was 12.6 feet and rising. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
