Until 10 AM EDT this morning, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS. Shoreline inundation is expected along portions of the seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point Loop Road, and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Tides one to one and a half feet above normal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at 8:38 AM and 9:13 PM.

A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Tidal Potomac from Indian Head to Cobb Island MD. At 826 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located along a line extending from 10 nm west of Aquia Creek to 10 nm southwest of Potomac Creek to 13 nm southwest of Fairview Beach, moving northeast at 40 knots.
