A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Chesapeake Bay from Pooles Island to Sandy Point MD. Chesapeake Bay north of Pooles Island MD. Chester River to Queenstown MD. Patapsco River including Baltimore Harbor. At 915 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located along a line extending from 14 nm northwest of Middle River to 9 nm west of Fort Smallwood Park, moving east at 30 knots.

The areas affected include. Tidal Potomac from Key Bridge to Indian Head MD. At 848 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front, capable of producing wind gusts to around 25 knots out of the northwest. This gust front was located along a line extending from near Key Bridge to 6 nm northwest of Mason Neck State Park, moving southeast at 20 knots.
