Shoreline inundation is expected along portions of the seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point Loop Road and near the Tidal Basin. Portions of the Swamp Trail on Roosevelt Island are flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. The next high tides at Washington Channel are 9:15 AM and 9:31 PM.

At 3.0 feet, parking lots near Charles Street in Solomons begin to flood, with several inches of water covering low- lying portions of Charles Street and Williams Street. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. The next high tides at Solomons Island are 3:07 AM and 3:28 PM. The next high tides at Chesapeake Beach are 4:47 AM and 5:29 PM.

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Virginia. West Virginia. Shenandoah River at Millville affecting Warren, Clarke and Jefferson Counties. For the Shenandoah River. including Millville. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Shenandoah River at Millville. * WHEN. Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS. At 10.0 feet, Parts of Bloomery Road and John Rissler Road are flooded near Bloomery, West Virginia. Once these roads flood, access to homes is impaired but the homes themselves are not in any danger of flooding. Moulton Park and the Millville boat launch are also flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 9.3 feet, or 0.7 feet below flood stage. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 10.3 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History. Water also begins to flow over Millville Dam. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:30 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 10.6 feet, or 0.6 feet above flood stage. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 PM EDT Wednesday was 11.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning and continue falling to 5.9 feet Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History.
