* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE. Portions of northeast Alabama, including the following areas, DeKalb and Jackson and southern middle Tennessee, including the following areas, Franklin TN, Lincoln and Moore. * WHEN. Through late tonight. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Two to four inches of rainfall with some locally heavier amounts of rainfall have already occurred in portions of northeastern Alabama into southern middle Tennessee. An additional half of an inch to an inch with locally higher amounts are possible through tonight. Until 400 PM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1247 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area.
