Portions of Alabama, including the following areas, Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin AL, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall and Morgan and southern middle Tennessee, including the following areas, Franklin TN, Lincoln and Moore. * WHEN. Through 1 AM Saturday * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Locally heavy rainfall associated with Hurricane Helene is expected to begin this evening and will continue through Friday afternoon. Through late tonight. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Two to four inches of rainfall with some locally heavier amounts of rainfall have already occurred in portions of northeastern Alabama into southern middle Tennessee. An additional half of an inch to an inch with locally higher amounts are possible through tonight.
