At 814 PM MDT/914 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles northeast of Shambo Ranch to 5 miles southeast of Durkee Lake to 7 miles east of Elm Springs. Movement was southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Philip, Dupree, Cherry Creek, Milesville, Midland, Plainview, Kirley, Red Scaffold, Billsburg, Iron Lightning, Grindstone, Ottumwa, Glad Valley, South Eagle Butte, Creighton, Bridger, Howes, Thunder Butte, Red Elm, and Takini. This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 166 and 174.

SVRUNR The National Weather Service in Rapid City has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for. Northern Haakon County in west central South Dakota. Southern Ziebach County in west central South Dakota. East central Meade County in west central South Dakota. * Until 930 PM MDT. * At 822 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles southwest of Marcus, or 30 miles southwest of Faith, moving east at 60 mph. HAZARD. Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will be near. Plainview, Bridger, and Howes around 830 PM MDT. Red Scaffold and Takini around 835 PM MDT. Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include Cherry Creek, Intersection of Cherry Creek and Sunnybrook Roads and Intersection of Highway 63 and BIA Road 8.

Bridger and Takini around 840 PM MDT. Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include Red Scaffold, Cherry Creek and Kirley.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR Milesville and Billsburg. HAZARD. 80 mph wind gusts and golf ball size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely. * This severe thunderstorm will be near. Milesville and Bridger around 845 PM MDT. Billsburg around 850 PM MDT. Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include Ottumwa.
