The National Weather Service in Wilmington NC has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in South Carolina. Waccamaw River At Conway affecting Horry County. Black Creek At Quinby affecting Florence and Darlington Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Waccamaw River at Conway. * WHEN. From late tonight until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 11.0 feet, Water will begin to cause minor flooding of yards and a few roads in the Lees Landing, Pitch Landing, Savannah Bluff, and Riverfront South communities. Areas along Waccamaw CIR and Riverside DR may also begin to flood. Low areas along Gray Oaks Drive may begin to flood. Access to Hidden River RD may be cutoff. Overflow of vast uninhabited swamp and natural boat landings will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:15 AM EDT Friday the stage was 10.6 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue rising to a crest of 11.1 feet early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South Carolina. North Carolina. Waccamaw River near Longs affecting Columbus, Horry and Brunswick Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Waccamaw River near Longs. * WHEN. Until Monday morning. * IMPACTS. At 12.0 feet, Flooding may limit vehicle access near the river at the end of Big Gutter Lane and Doodle Hill Lane. Low spots on Red Bluff Road will begin to flood. The end of Vera Road will flood. Several boat landings will become inaccessible. Parts of Aberdeen County Club will be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 12.2 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.2 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday afternoon. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

The National Weather Service in Wilmington NC has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in South Carolina. Great Pee Dee River At Pee Dee affecting Marion and Florence Counties. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Great Pee Dee River at Pee Dee. * WHEN. From Sunday morning until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 23.0 feet, Flooding will affect swamp and timberlands while also disrupting logging operations. Operations will likely cease and equipment not previously moved will remain trapped. Some farmland will have minor flooding especially around Britton Neck. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:00 PM EDT Friday the stage was 16.4 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage Sunday morning and continue rising to 23.2 feet Wednesday evening.
