At 739 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Raemon, or 13 miles southeast of Laurinburg, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rainfall. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. The heavy rainfall may result in localized flooding across low lying and poorly drained locations and roadways. Locations impacted include. Lumberton, Dillon, Red Springs, Pembroke, Maxton, St. Pauls, Rowland, Clio, Rex, Hamer, South Of The Border, Shannon, Buie, Robeson Community College, Wakulla, Minturn, Elrod, Howellsville, Raemon, and Tolarsville. This includes the following highways. Interstate 95 in South Carolina between mile markers 191 and 198. Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 1 and 38.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of northeast South Carolina, including the following counties, Darlington, Dillon, Florence and Marlboro. * WHEN. Until 1030 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 729 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen across the advisory area with an additional 1 to 2 inches possible during the next few hours. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
