Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will begin to develop this afternoon and continue into the evening hours across much of Southeast South Carolina and Southeast Georgia. The greatest rain chances will occur across the interior, roughly along and west of the I-95 corridor. In addition to gusty winds and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, there will be a risk for torrential rainfall which could result in minor flooding of low- lying and poor drainage areas. Remain weather aware throughout the day and be prepared to take action should threatening weather approach your location.
