At 231 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles west of Gaston, or 10 miles south of Red Bank, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. Cayce, South Congaree, Pine Ridge, Gaston, SC State Farmer's Market, Swansea, Pelion, Lexington County Airport At Pelion, Lexington Acres Pond, Peachtree Rock, Edmund, Thor, Silver Lake, and Dixiana. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will begin to develop this afternoon and continue into the evening hours across much of Southeast South Carolina and Southeast Georgia. The greatest rain chances will occur across the interior, roughly along and west of the I-95 corridor.
