Black Creek At Quinby affecting Florence and Darlington Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Black Creek at Quinby. * WHEN. From Saturday morning to late Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS. At 11.5 feet, Floodwaters spill over into yards of all residences on Creekside Drive. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 7.7 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 12.0 feet early Monday morning. Water begins to get into residents' yards on Creekside Drive and East Black Creek Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 12:00 PM EDT Friday the stage was 8.4 feet. - Forecast. The river will rise above flood stage this evening to 10.9 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall to 10.7 feet and begin rising again early Sunday afternoon. At 100.4 feet, The piers on the Wildlife Road bridge over Singleton Creek become submerged. At 102.5 feet, Roadways near Beaver Creek become flooded. At 103.0 feet, Home owners on low lying property have to move belongings out of basements or from under raised houses. Boat launch on U.S. Highway 1 at the lake closed due to flood water. At 105.0 feet, Roads and homes nearest the lake shore flood. Flooded roads isolate areas extending from the lake shore. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 101.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 100.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 AM EDT Friday was 101.3 feet. - Forecast. At 16.0 feet, Old State Road, SC 66, below Cayce becomes flooded. At 19.0 feet, Extensive swampland and large areas of farmland and pasture land downstream from Columbia become flooded. At 21.0 feet, Extensive swampland and large areas of farmland and pasture land downstream from Columbia are flooded. At 24.0 feet, Flooding also occurs in the Cayce Quarry. At 28.0 feet, Flooding begins in low lying areas of the Riverland Park subdivision in Cayce. At 18.0 feet, Several homes in the Sandy Run subdivision along the river become flooded. At 18 feet the river covers the Weston Lake overlook in the Congaree National Park. Between 18 and 18.5 feet the river begins to cover sections of the elevated boardwalk. At 20.0 feet, Farmland from Sandy Run to St. Matthews becomes flooded. Flooding increases in the Congaree National Park. At 19 feet the river covers most of the elevated boardwalk in the Congaree National Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 14.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Forecast.
