At 459 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Mt Pisgah, or 20 miles northwest of Hartsville, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include. Carolina Sandhills Wildlife Refuge, Mt Pisgah, Jefferson, and Bay Springs Fire Station.

* WHAT. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of central South Carolina, including the following counties, Bamberg, Calhoun and Orangeburg. * WHEN. Until 745 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 445 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Orangeburg, Bamberg, Brookdale, Orangeburg County Airport, Edisto Gardens, South Carolina State University, Claflin College, Cameron, Rowesville, Cordova, Cope, Edisto, Wilkinson Heights and Prince of Orange Mall. - This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 144 and 154. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
