Boaters on Lake Marion Should Seek Safe Harbor. HAZARD. Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and frequent lightning. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Sumter, St. Matthews, Summerton, Eastover, Congaree National Park, Gadsden, Millwood, Poinsett State Park, Pinewood, Paxville, Cane Savannah, Rimini, St. Paul, Fort Motte, Stumphole Landing, Privateer, Wedgewood, Creston, Lone Star, and Low Falls Landing. This includes Interstate 95 between mile markers 104 and 110.
