At 125 PM EDT, an area of heavy rain and thunderstorms was located near Findley Lake, or 20 miles east of Erie, moving east at 45 mph. This area of heavy rain will produce minor flooding in poor drainage areas, and thunderstorms may produce wind gusts up to 40 mph. Locations impacted include. Jamestown, Dunkirk, Fredonia, Westfield, Lakewood, Silver Creek, Falconer, Mayville, Clymer, Chautauqua Institution, Lake Erie State Park, Findley Lake, Frewsburg, Busti, Portland, and Sheridan. This includes the following highways. Interstate 90 between exits 58 and 61. Interstate 86 between exits 4 and 14. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

This thunderstorm was located 9 nm west of Ripley, or 13 nm northeast of Erie, moving northeast at 45 knots. Locations impacted include. Van Buren Point, Dunkirk, Barcelona, Ripley, and Sunset Bay.
