Waters from Cape Lookout to Surf City NC from 20 to 40 nm. * Until 630 PM EDT. * At 526 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near R-8 Buoy to near Ar345 to near Ar355, moving southeast at 15 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. Northwest Places, Ar342, Ar320, R-8 Buoy, Ar355, 14 Buoy, Ar345, Cape Lookout Bight, The Knuckle Buoy, Big Ten Fathom, Ar315, Ar340, Ar330, and Cape Lookout.

Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 502 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
