Flooding due to runoff and release of water over Oxford Dam and Lookout Shoals Dam. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 139 PM EDT, emergency management reported flooding along the shores and downstream of Lake Hickory and Lookout Shoals Lake. Flooding is already occurring. Lake levels may fluctuate as water is released. - Please stay away from the area and allow first responders to perform their recovery efforts. Please obey all barricades which remain in place for your safety as numerous roadways have been compromised by flood waters and may not be safe.
